DiDi Food: Every Country and City Where It Operates (2026)

Zbigniew Kubinski·March 27, 2026·2 min read

DiDi (formerly Didi Chuxing) is a Chinese mobility giant that operates ride-hailing and food delivery across multiple countries. Here is exactly where DiDi Food is available in 2026.

DiDi Food availability by country

Latin America (strongest food delivery presence)

  • Mexico: 70+ cities, 30M+ users. #1 by market share in some segments. DiDi Food is a serious competitor to Uber Eats and Rappi here.
  • Brazil: Operating as 99Food (DiDi's Brazilian brand). Relaunched in April 2025 after a brief hiatus, now available in 60+ cities including Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and Belo Horizonte.
  • Colombia: Growing presence in Bogota, Medellin, and other cities.
  • Costa Rica: Available in San Jose metropolitan area.

Asia Pacific

  • China: DiDi's home market. Dominant ride-hailing platform with integrated food delivery.
  • Australia: 30+ cities across all six states and ACT. Both ride-hailing and food delivery.
  • New Zealand: Available in Auckland and major cities.

Africa

  • Egypt: Ride-hailing available in Cairo and Alexandria (entered 2025).

DiDi's integrated ecosystem

In many countries, DiDi combines ride-hailing, food delivery, and the 99Pay digital wallet into a single app. This means you can order a ride, get food delivered, and manage payments all in one place.

Where DiDi Food does NOT operate

DiDi Food is not available in the United States, Canada, Europe (except potentially through future expansion), or most of Southeast Asia. For those regions, check alternatives like Uber Eats, Deliveroo, GrabFood, or local platforms on bento.travel.
