Food Delivery Apps in Panama

PedidosYa is Panama's clear local delivery leader, while Uber Eats is the easier English-language backup for a foreign visitor. National reporting in April 2026 said courier order flow on Uber Eats was lower than on PedidosYa, supporting the latter's practical lead. PedidosYa has the broader city footprint; Uber Eats is concentrated in Panama City and nearby urban areas. Both accept foreign phone numbers and require no Panamanian ID or local bank account. PedidosYa is primarily Spanish and accepts cards or cash depending on the merchant. Uber Eats provides English and normally accepts the Visa or Mastercard already attached to the user's Uber account. International card authorization can still fail, so cash is useful on PedidosYa. DoorDash, Deliveroo and Rappi do not provide a comparable Panamanian consumer service. Glovo is not a current separate app because its Latin American operations moved to Delivery Hero's PedidosYa brand. Fees vary by restaurant, distance and basket size and are displayed at checkout. In towers and gated communities, the courier usually waits in the lobby or at security, so add the building name and keep the phone reachable. Panama's iPhone Food and Drink chart placed PedidosYa at number 1, Uber Eats at number 3 and ASAP at number 13 in July 2026. DiDi Food also remained active in the metropolitan area.
