It requires identity verification and prefunding in USD, EUR or USDC.
Its small review base includes successful Argentine use as well as complaints about funding fees and availability, so it is optional: verify and fund a small test amount before arrival, compare the displayed conversion and never store a large travel budget there. Western Union remains an optional way to send pesos to yourself for passport pickup, but fees, sender-country support, queues, transaction review and branch cash stock vary. Use indoor bank ATMs if possible, decline terminal conversion and avoid informal street exchange.
