Its accuracy is not uniform. Dense lanes, informal addresses, market entrances, new roads, river crossings and rural routes can be incomplete or pinned to the wrong access point. Save the exact hotel entrance, not only the property label, and ask the accommodation to send the address in Bangla plus a recognizable landmark. Keep a screenshot and phone number because drivers and couriers often call for directions.

Download every offered offline area before departure and test it in airplane mode. Offline maps do not provide current traffic, public-transport positions or closures. Dhaka travel times can be many times longer than the distance suggests, so inspect the live estimate shortly before leaving and add a large buffer for flights, trains and appointments. A map route is not proof that a bus is operating or that a road is safe.

Urban bus networks are fragmented and route information can be incomplete. Flooding, political demonstrations, security controls and construction can block the suggested path with little warning. For a remote, river, coastal or hill itinerary, confirm the current road, launch or trail with the accommodation, operator, guide or local authority. Do not follow a pin into a restricted site, isolated track or water crossing simply because the app proposes it.

Save the nearest hospital, police contact, embassy or consulate and transport terminal offline. Carry a power bank and preserve the destination in more than one place.
