No. Uber does not operate in Uzbekistan. The normal Uber app will not find a local ride in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, or elsewhere in the country.
The practical replacement is Yandex Go. It offers the familiar flow of entering a destination, seeing a fare before the request, and tracking the assigned car. Uklon and MyTaxi add useful competition in Tashkent.

Is Uber available anywhere in Uzbekistan?
No current Uber market is documented. Uzbekistan is absent from Uber's live country and city directory, and Uber publishes no Uzbek rider or airport service page.
Do not confuse a generic reference to Uber in an article about platform work with proof of local operation. Uber itself does not list the country or publish a local rider page.

Uzbekistan's state news agency published the new Tashkent Airport taxi access rules. Yandex rides are ordered in the app, while the official carriers can be booked through the dispatcher in the arrivals hall.
Do not assume every taxi app can use that same curb. Request after collecting your luggage, then follow the location shown by the app or the airport dispatcher. Match the plate before entering and ignore unsolicited drivers who ask you to cancel an app trip.
What should I use instead of Uber?
- Yandex Go: The clearest default. Its official Uzbekistan page shows the fare and estimated route time before the request and explicitly supports cash payment to the driver. Its current mobile agreement identifies an Uzbekistan-based Yandex Go entity.
- Uklon: A useful second quote in Tashkent. The current Uzbekistan App Store listing confirms Tashkent service, fixed app pricing unless the trip changes, and card or cash payment.
- MyTaxi: Another Tashkent option. Its company page identifies it as a Tashkent taxi aggregator. The current app listing supports ride tracking, driver and car details, cash, local Uzcard and Humo cards, Visa, and Mastercard.
Availability outside Tashkent is more fragmented. Check the destination in Yandex Go first, then ask the hotel or host which licensed dispatcher currently serves the city. Do not infer nationwide coverage from a Tashkent app listing.
