Keep a physical fallback: MTCC's customer portal, a station counter, the accepted onboard payment method or help from your accommodation. Do not assume every island is connected by the same service, every listed trip runs daily or every public ferry accepts an app ticket.

Buy time-sensitive tickets before heading to the jetty, but screenshot the booking and keep the payment receipt.
