Raajje Transport Link, operated by MTCC, is the official public network for buses and high-speed ferries. The RTL Travel App is most useful for Greater Malé buses and for public ferry routes that actually serve your itinerary. It can show routes and schedules and supports bus or speedboat ticket booking, but reviews continue to report login, payment and tracking problems. Keep a physical fallback: MTCC's customer portal, a station counter, the accepted onboard payment method or help from your accommodation. Do not assume every island is connected by the same service, every listed trip runs daily or every public ferry accepts an app ticket. Check the exact route and date shortly before travel, then recheck when weather deteriorates or a public holiday approaches. Buy time-sensitive tickets before heading to the jetty, but screenshot the booking and keep the payment receipt. In Greater Malé, congestion can make a short bus journey slow, and the airport route may be crowded with luggage. Leave a wide buffer before a flight, scheduled speedboat or seaplane check-in. Public transport does not normally solve a private resort transfer. The resort, not RTL, should confirm the authorized boat, domestic flight or seaplane included with that booking.
