Intercity bus and train booking, curated for travelers visiting Mexico.
Mexico's intercity bus market is regional and operator-specific. ADO is the most useful app for travelers on its strong network across the south, southeast and Gulf region, including routes serving Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Mérida, Cancún and the Riviera Maya. It is not Mexico's universal bus app and should not be recommended for northern or western routes it does not operate. The Android app was updated on 7 July 2026, but current traveler reports and store reviews describe foreign-store availability, foreign-card, verification and ticket-loading failures. Use the official ADO website or staffed counter as a real fallback and save the boarding pass offline before travel. Search the exact terminal and service class, enter passenger details correctly and review baggage and change terms. Major cities can have several bus stations far apart. Use the official terminal, allow time for security and boarding, and keep bags and valuables controlled. For another region, identify the actual reputable operator and buy from its official site, app or staffed counter. Do not accept a social-media ticket link or an informal ride outside the terminal. Security conditions and road risk vary by state and corridor, so check current official advice and accommodation guidance before booking, especially for night travel. A domestic flight may be more practical on a very long route. Avoid a fragile same-day road connection to an international flight.
