Order food from local restaurants, curated for travelers visiting Peru.
PedidosYa is the most-used visitor-relevant food app in Peru. It was the country's most downloaded delivery app during 2024 and reached about 1.11 million downloads in the reported 2026 ranking. Rappi is the strong second choice, while DiDi Food is a meaningful lower-cost competitor in Lima and selected cities. Sensor Tower data during the third quarter of 2025 showed PedidosYa at roughly 30,000 to 36,000 weekly downloads and Rappi peaking near 24,500, which supports PedidosYa's lead without proving order share. All three operate in Lima. PedidosYa and Rappi also cover Arequipa, Cusco, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Piura and other large cities, while DiDi Food coverage is narrower. DiDi Food is usually the cheapest during promotions as of mid-2026. Rappi often has the widest convenience selection, and PedidosYa generally has the broadest restaurant choice. Foreign numbers can work, no Peruvian ID or bank account is required, and the apps offer Spanish with varying English support. International Visa and Mastercard cards usually work, but cash is a useful fallback where offered. Delivery commonly costs about PEN 3 to PEN 10 before service and small-order fees as of mid-2026. Uber Eats does not work because it ended service on May 29, 2020. DoorDash and Deliveroo do not operate.
