Canada-specific travel apps are mostly conditional. ArriveCAN is no longer an entry requirement; its current purpose is the optional Advance CBSA Declaration for international air travelers arriving at participating airports. It can be completed in the app or on the web up to 72 hours before arrival. ArriveCAN does not replace a passport, visa or electronic travel authorization, and travelers should confirm their entry requirements separately through the Government of Canada. Parks Canada is useful for visitors going to national parks, historic sites or marine conservation areas because it offers offline information and self-guided tours, but reservations still use the Parks Canada website. Download the relevant park content before losing service and keep reservation confirmations separately. Flair Airlines released new official iOS and Android apps in late 2025 and updated them during 2026. Recommend the Flair app only to passengers considering or holding a Flair booking. Travelers using another airline should install that airline's app instead of downloading a Canadian carrier app they will not use. Keep boarding documents and booking references offline, since an airline or border app should never be the only copy of a time-critical document.
