No grocery, coupon, marketplace, or parcel app is needed for a normal visit.

Google Maps and official retailer pages can locate supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, convenience shops, and specialist stores. Verify current hours before making a special journey. Most large shops close on Sundays and public holidays, with limited exceptions at some airports, major stations, fuel stations, bakeries, and designated locations. Rules and actual opening vary, so do not assume an app listing is current.

Bring a sufficient legal supply of prescription medicine and critical personal items. Buy medicine from a legitimate Apotheke and involve a clinician or insurer before accepting a substitute. At flea markets, Christmas markets, festivals, and small shops, ask whether international cards are accepted before committing. Keep euros available where the merchant accepts only cash or girocard.

Review the terminal amount, decline home-currency conversion, and retain receipts for warranties, tax, or customs questions. Bottle deposits are marked Pfand and are normally reclaimed through a return machine or participating seller, but no app is required. Do not send passport or card images to informal sellers, transfer a deposit to an unverified account, or buy regulated, counterfeit, protected, or suspiciously sourced goods. Marketplace, loyalty, and supermarket apps are resident conveniences.

Current hours, legitimate stock, safe payment, and a receipt are more useful to a visitor than another retail account.
