Cross-check a critical journey with the operator and the stop display. TFI Go sells mobile tickets for participating Bus Éireann, Local Link and commercial bus services.
It is not a Dublin Bus ticket wallet and does not replace a Leap Card. Find the route and operator first, buy the correct product, and activate it only when the app's instructions require because unused and active tickets have different validity rules. TFI Go has persistent reports of slow logins and failed ticket display, so open it before the bus arrives and keep another permitted payment method. A Leap Visitor Card can suit concentrated Dublin travel, but compare its coverage and collection point with ordinary pay-as-you-go use before purchase.
