Not available here Uber does not operate in Tajikistan. Travelers use local licensed taxi services such as Rakhsh and Jura, but app signup and dispatch can be unreliable for a new arrival.
Rakhsh's current store listing names 19 locations or regions in Tajikistan and advertises 24-hour ordering through the app or short number 33-33. Supply is still live. Treat the list as evidence of a service network rather than a promise that a driver is near the pickup.23
Jura advertises an upfront route price, driver contact and cash or card payment. Its current listing supports using it as a Dushanbe comparison, but it does not establish dependable account registration or nationwide coverage.4
Neither operator documents reliable verification for every foreign mobile number. A recent US App Store review reports that Jura rejected a US number format. That doesn't prove every foreign number fails, but it is enough reason to test registration before arrival. Rakhsh's 33-33 phone line remains useful when its app cannot complete the request.25
This review did not complete a ride on a foreign-issued card. Cash is the safer default until your own card succeeds in advance. Confirm the fare before departure and avoid changing payment terms after the ride begins.4
