Save the accommodation and operator from the number shown on its official website or booking confirmation, not from an unsolicited message or copied advertisement. For a pickup or rural stay, send the exact place name and map pin plus the date, local time, passenger count and luggage. Ask for an explicit confirmation and the total or fare basis. In Alpine areas, a guide or hut may use messaging for logistics, but a sent message is not proof that anyone has seen it and WhatsApp is not an emergency service.
