Accommodation providers, tour agencies, guides, drivers, restaurants and local support contacts commonly use it for confirmations, pickup details, map pins and last-minute changes. Activate the account before travel while the original number can receive a verification code. A Bolivian SIM does not require changing the WhatsApp number. Save the accommodation, tour operator, insurer, airline and transport-company contacts before a remote journey, and include the booking name when sending a location.
