PedidosYa has the broadest documented national footprint and is the local default, while Uber Eats is the simplest option for a visitor with an existing international account. PedidosYa reported in March 2026 that it served 18 Ecuadorian cities with more than 12,000 affiliated merchants and about 6,000 couriers. Its coverage includes Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca and many provincial capitals. Uber Eats also currently lists Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Ambato, Manta, Ibarra, Riobamba, Machala and Portoviejo, among others. Rappi remains active but is concentrated in the largest cities. PedidosYa's interface is primarily Spanish; international phone numbers and cards often work, but card acceptance can vary by issuer and cash remains common. Uber Eats provides English, accepts foreign phone numbers and generally uses the Visa or Mastercard already attached to the account. Neither requires a local ID or bank account. DoorDash does not operate under its own brand. Glovo is not a separate current app in Ecuador because its Latin American business was sold and the service moved to PedidosYa. Delivery and service fees are address specific and shown before checkout. Rappi remains active in Quito, Guayaquil and Cuenca as of July 2026 and belongs in the comparison even where PedidosYa has broader reach.
