ETA-IL is a website process, not a reason to install an app. Search results and ads can lead to private intermediaries charging more, so verify the government domain before entering passport or card details and save the approval offline. Entry authorization does not guarantee admission, and visa requirements depend on nationality and circumstances. Book flights, hotels, tours and attractions directly or through a provider you already trust. Reconfirm close to travel because airline operations, Ben Gurion terminals, border crossings, opening hours and tours can change with security instructions. Check your government's current travel advice and whether insurance remains valid for the exact itinerary. Do not rely on an itinerary app or old email for a crossing or flight. Use the Airports Authority live flight board, the airline and the relevant official crossing page. If a flight is cancelled, contact the airline before traveling to the airport.
