GO is the official current brand of Japan's largest taxi app, says it operates in all 47 prefectures, and supports English, many foreign phone numbers, international cards and Apple Pay. Availability still varies within each prefecture. As of August 2026, short-term foreign visitors pay GO's nationwide JPY 200 international service charge except where a remote-area service charge applies.
