Use Visit Jordan for official destination information, attraction planning, events, maps, transport references and emergency contacts. The current app is published by the Jordan Tourism Board and is a useful companion, but critical visa and border decisions should still be checked on the Ministry of Interior and official Jordan Pass websites. Jordan Pass is a digital pass rather than a conventional app. It can include entry to more than 40 attractions and, for an eligible nationality, waive the tourist visa fee when bought before arrival and when the minimum-stay condition is met. It is not a visa, it is not available on the same terms to every nationality and Petra by Night is not included. Choose the package by the number of consecutive Petra days actually needed. The current Jordan Pass packages and terms pages say at least two nights, meaning three days, for the visa-fee benefit, while a legacy official price page still says three nights, meaning four days. Because those official pages conflict, confirm the current rule with Jordan Pass support before relying on the waiver. The pass is nonrefundable and attraction closure does not create a refund right. Its validity was extended in April 2026 to three months from entry, but each attraction is generally a single visit unless the package says otherwise. Buy only from the official domain, save the pass and receipt offline, carry the same passport and check current visa eligibility separately before departure.
