Ignore solicitors in the arrivals hall and use an official airport taxi desk if an app pickup cannot be completed. Set the pin on the correct road side or entrance, compare the registration and driver, keep the trip active, and do not pay a second time after choosing card payment. Drivers may call in Kazakh or Russian, so place a short translated pickup note in the comments. inDrive is a useful second option in smaller cities, on routes with weak Yandex supply, or when comparing driver bids.
