Book flights, hotels, and activities, curated for travelers visiting Norway.
Book accommodation, scenic transport and guided activities through the actual provider or a well-known platform, then keep the confirmation offline. Norway's weather makes cancellation terms unusually important for ferries, northern-lights trips, exposed hikes and small-aircraft connections. Hurtigruten and Havila coastal voyages, commercial express buses, Flåm-area packages and many regional ferries have different operators and conditions; Entur is a planner, not proof that every seat or vehicle place is reserved. Drivers should expect automated road tolls and some ferry charging. With a rental car, ask exactly how tolls, ferry passages and administration fees will be billed. A privately owned foreign vehicle must pay Norwegian tolls and can register through the official AutoPASS/Epass24 process. DNT's app is genuinely useful only for travelers using Norwegian Trekking Association cabins: it stores membership details and can register and pay for accommodation and provisions at participating self-service or unstaffed cabins, including recording items offline and paying after coverage returns. Check the specific cabin because not every cabin supports app payment or drop-in stays. Svalbard is outside Schengen; visa-required travelers need at least two Schengen entries to return to mainland Norway. EES is operating, while ETIAS was still not accepting applications in August 2026. Municipal accommodation tax cannot start before 2027.
