Not available here Uber Eats ended Czech operations in 2020. Uber announced a possible 2026 return but paused most of that European expansion in July, and no Czech consumer service was live on 12 August 2026.
Wolt's current directory names dozens of Czech markets, from Prague and Brno to smaller cities such as Jihlava, Tábor and Znojmo. foodora also publishes a long locality index. Those lists establish real reach, but they do not mean every village edge, hotel or industrial estate is inside the delivery polygon. Enter the full address before comparing restaurants.14
Bolt Food is a separate delivery app, not a tab in the Bolt ride app. Its Czech service supports card, cash and Bolt Balance according to Bolt's own payment guidance. Keep it as the third comparison when its restaurant set or promotion wins. Older Uber Eats recommendations are stale: Uber announced that Czech delivery ended in June 2020.67
Give the building number, entrance, floor and apartment or reception name. In Prague, Brno and older town centres, one address can conceal a courtyard, passage or multiple staircases. Put the pin where the courier can stop legally and explain any bell label. If the accommodation restricts access, meet at the lobby rather than leaving the rider at a locked door.3
Keep the order phone charged and reachable. Wolt usually provides the smoothest English interface, while Czech menu text, restaurant substitutions and courier calls can still appear in Czech. A concise landmark or entrance message is more useful than a long auto-translation. Save the chat when it changes the order.35
Wolt's Czech terms and FAQ explicitly allow cash, foodora's Prague page lists cash among several methods, and Bolt Food documents cash too. If you choose it, carry Czech crowns close to the order amount. A courier should never need your card PIN, a verification code or an off-platform transfer to complete a cash order.2356
Wolt's terms allow a cash-order refund to be issued as credits, which may be poor value near the end of a trip. Card payment leaves a clearer platform and bank record for an expensive basket. Whichever method you use, keep the receipt and photograph missing or damaged items before opening support.2
Czech user reports describe large gaps between a restaurant's direct price and its app total, along with uneven support experiences. These are reports, not universal rates. They are still a good reason to compare the restaurant's own menu or pickup price when the basket is expensive, then add delivery, service and small-order charges before deciding.8
For a serious allergy, contact the restaurant directly in a shared language and ask about both the ingredient and cross-contact. An English app filter does not prove that the Czech kitchen saw the note. If the answer is uncertain, choose a simple dish or order in person.5
If the three apps show weak coverage or high fees, use the restaurant's official website or number, ask the accommodation to call, or collect the meal. Confirm whether the business takes card and whether the quoted time is for pickup or delivery. Keep some Czech crowns for independent places that do not accept your card.8
