Order food from local restaurants, curated for travelers visiting Czech Republic.
foodora, formerly Dáme jídlo, has the broadest national restaurant network and is the local default. Wolt is its main urban rival, while Bolt Food competes strongly on promotions. A Czech online survey published in 2023 found recent use of foodora's predecessor Dáme jídlo at 23 percent, Wolt at 9 percent and Bolt Food at 6 percent in 2023. The dated result predates the rebrand but still explains foodora's lead. All three cover Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň and Olomouc, with foodora extending to many smaller towns and Wolt serving cities including Liberec, České Budějovice and Hradec Králové as of mid-2026. Uber Eats announced a 2026 Czech return after its June 3, 2020 exit, then postponed the launch on July 5, 2026. It was not a working consumer option on July 31, 2026 and is listed only because its status is launching. Bolt Food is usually the cheapest during promotions; foodora often has the largest selection; Wolt generally has the clearest English support. The three operating apps support English, foreign phone registration and international Visa or Mastercard payment without Czech ID or a local bank account. Cash availability varies by restaurant and app, so a foreign card is preferable. Delivery charges are dynamic, and the lowest menu price can lose after small-order and service fees. Outside the named cities, foodora is the first app to check.
