Intercity bus and train booking, curated for travelers visiting Latvia.
Latvia has no single app that completely covers trains, domestic coaches and international buses. Vivi Latvia is the official national rail app for timetables, direct e-tickets, live train movement and operational changes. Its app requires an account with an email address and phone number, while the Vivi website can sell a one-time e-ticket to a guest and email it without account registration. That website fallback is especially useful if app registration or payment fails. Buy before boarding. An onboard train purchase can cost extra when the boarding station has an open ticket office. Present the full ticket code and validate it immediately after boarding at a validator or with the conductor, as instructed for that train and ticket type. Do not assume a screenshot works for timed or Riga Single Tickets because those use a changing code. Mobilly sells regional train and bus tickets and can be convenient for users with a supported-country number. Riga International Coach Terminal identifies Mobilly and bezrindas.lv as online sellers for regional intercity, local and international coach routes, but route inventory and ticket conditions can differ. Find the actual carrier, exact stop and direction before paying. For a cross-border journey, book the direct operator such as Lux Express, FlixBus, Elron or LTG Link when appropriate, because one app does not cover every Baltic connection. Save the ticket and operator contact offline, check service changes on travel day and arrive early. Rail works, weather and road traffic can alter the platform, stop or connection. A ticket from a Vivi partner can have different validity or refund conditions from a ticket bought directly from Vivi.
