Food delivery is useful after a late arrival or when a riad is difficult to leave, but it is not an app every visitor must install. Glovo has the widest independently verifiable footprint. Its current Morocco map includes Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakesh, Tangier, Agadir, Fez, Meknes, Kenitra, Mohammedia, Bouskoura, and other urban markets. Kooul is the best local backup, with a current 2026 app and advertised service across several of the same tourist cities. Bolt Food is a real option in Marrakesh only. Always test the exact address because a city name does not guarantee that a medina lane, resort, or outer district is inside the delivery zone. Set the pin at the riad's accessible gate, write the property name and nearest landmark in the notes, and keep the phone reachable. Drivers generally cannot enter pedestrian medina alleys. Compare the final total with ordering directly: recent local users repeatedly complain about menu markups, service charges, and delivery fees. Cash can rescue a failed foreign-card authorization, but check the order's allowed payment methods before placing it. A restaurant's WhatsApp or direct phone order may be cheaper and may reach places outside an app zone. Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and DoorDash are absent. Jumia Food is obsolete because Jumia ended food delivery in every market in December 2023.
