Transit Apps in Morocco

Morocco has no single nationwide urban-transit app, so install only the tool for the city where you will actually use buses or trams. Blassty is the strongest current addition for the Rabat, Salé, and Témara area. It launched as an official multimodal app with bus and tram planning, live information, parking, and links to other transport modes. CASABUS is the practical Casablanca bus companion, with route planning, stops, live positions where available, and service notices. Casablanca's tram and busway operator also publishes current network information on its official website; keep that page bookmarked because no app should be the sole source during disruption. In Marrakesh, Fez, Tangier, and smaller cities, published data and live accuracy vary, so hotel advice, marked stops, and the operator's current notice remain useful. Buy or validate the correct local ticket according to the vehicle system and do not assume that a Casablanca ticket works in Rabat. City names are a hard boundary here: Blassty is not a Morocco planner and CASABUS is not for intercity coaches. Google Maps can help with broad orientation but may omit a route or show an outdated schedule. ONCF belongs under Intercity Transport, not urban transit. Most tourists need neither listed app unless they plan repeated local journeys in the relevant metro area.
