Book flights, hotels, and activities, curated for travelers visiting Oman.
Do not install a third-party visa app. Check nationality-specific entry rules and submit any application only through the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal linked by Oman's Foreign Ministry. More than 100 nationalities and regions can receive a stay of up to 14 days without an entry visa, but only when the published conditions are met, including passport validity, a return ticket, a confirmed hotel booking, health insurance and sufficient funds. The exemption cannot be extended or converted into a residence visa. Travelers who are not exempt will usually need an unsponsored tourist visit visa, but eligibility and validity depend on the passport and circumstances. Keep the approval and supporting documents offline. For accommodation and ordinary flights, use the provider's own site or an established booking service already trusted by the traveler. No Oman-only booking app is required. Visit Oman connects travelers with local tourism providers, but verify the business, licence, itinerary, transport, insurance, inclusions and cancellation terms before paying. Remote attractions and nature reserves can require permits or close because of weather, conservation rules or road conditions. Jabal Akhdar has an official reserve permit service as of 2026. Do not accept an unexpected change of bank account through chat without confirming it through an independently published contact. Download bookings, the hotel address, insurance and emergency contacts before leaving reliable internet.
