Tourist eVisa eligibility and applications belong on the official Saudi visa website, not in a third-party app. The eVisa can permit Umrah outside the Hajj season for eligible travelers, but it never authorizes Hajj. Under current Ministry guidance, every Muslim visitor performing Umrah needs an Umrah authorization, and both that permit and Rawdah scheduling are handled through Nusuk. The separate multiple-entry Umrah visa introduced in July 2026 has its own approved-package and permit conditions, so do not confuse it with the tourist eVisa.
Pilgrimage windows, Makkah entry controls and Hajj-season suspensions change each year. Recheck Ministry guidance for the actual dates and never buy a permit from a person contacting you through social media or WhatsApp. Nusuk has extensive language support and millions of users, but current reviews report login, language and booking failures. Set it up before departure, then save permits and appointments offline.
Ordinary tourists do not need Absher, Nafath or resident identity apps. For concerts, football and major Saudi events, webook.com is a useful optional official ticket marketplace. Buy only through the event's authorized listing, save the barcode and receipt offline, and expect high-demand releases to strain the app. Destination websites remain better for AlUla, Red Sea and attraction-specific rules.
