Baemin is the local leader, with Coupang Eats the strong second choice. Together they held about 88 percent of the market during May 2026. Baemin recorded about 15.24 million weekly active users and Coupang Eats about 8.45 million during that period. Yogiyo is the lower-ranked national alternative. All three cover Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Suwon and major cities, but historically required Korean phone, address and payment setup. Baemin added foreign-issued card support through Apple Pay by May 31, 2026, materially improving visitor access, though a compatible Apple device and supported card remain necessary. Coupang Eats and Yogiyo still work most reliably with a Korean number and local payment. Shuttle Delivery is the visitor-specific alternative in Seoul zones including Itaewon, Hannam, Gangnam, Hongdae, Mapo and parts of Yongsan. It offers English, accepts international cards and does not require a Korean number. Coupang Eats is usually cheaper than Baemin when its free-delivery benefits apply as of mid-2026, while Shuttle is usually more expensive because it serves foreign-language restaurants and narrower zones. Typical delivery fees range from KRW 0 to KRW 5,000 before small-order or distance charges as of mid-2026. Uber Eats is unavailable after exiting on October 14, 2019. DoorDash, Deliveroo, GrabFood and foodpanda do not operate consumer services.
