Intercity bus and train booking, curated for travelers visiting Sweden.
Sweden's intercity network has several rail and coach operators, not one national seller. Start with the official Resrobot website to compare public-transport combinations, then buy from the named operator. SJ is the market-leading rail operator and its app sells SJ journeys plus some other companies' tickets, provides trip-specific traffic updates and supports rebooking for eligible fares. It does not reliably represent every operator or product. Vy runs Swedish trains and coaches, including important western, northern and cross-border services; set the app's region to Sweden and language to English. VR, Snälltåget, Mälartåg and Öresundståg also run material routes. Use their official site or the regional ticket authority when the itinerary names them. Öresundståg tickets must be purchased and, for app tickets, activated before boarding; ticket machines exist at its Swedish stations and at Copenhagen Airport and Central Station. Advance purchase is sensible on reserved long-distance trains and during busy periods, while regional fares can follow different validity rules. Keep the ticket email or PDF and verify the operator, exact station, departure and reservation rather than assuming tickets are interchangeable. Vy flygbussarna is a useful airport-coach app for Arlanda, Landvetter, Malmö, Skavsta and Västerås routes, but the web can issue the same scannable ticket. Airport options differ greatly in time and price, and Arlanda commuter-rail journeys can include a station passage fee, so compare the complete route before buying. Leave a realistic disruption margin before a flight.
