Do not enter an unbranded cab without checking the displayed tariff. All five apps have English booking, accept foreign phone numbers and require no Swedish ID or bank account. Uber and Bolt accept foreign Visa and Mastercard cards plus mobile wallets. Taxi Stockholm, Sverigetaxi and WeRide offer app cards, with payment in the car as a fallback. At Arlanda, Landvetter and Malmö airports, use the named company's signed pickup area or official rank. A fixed app quote is normally safer than hailing. Outside listed cities, Sverigetaxi or a local Taxifix-linked operator may be the only app-like option. Driver supply can be sparse late at night in regional towns.
