Order food from local restaurants, curated for travelers visiting Turkey.
Food delivery is available across major cities, but it is not a dependable arrival tool for a traveler who has only a foreign number and card. Trendyol Go is the current app to consider. Its separate App Store listing is branded as Trendyol Go by Uber Eats, ranks first in Turkey's Food and Drink category, supports English at store level, and includes restaurants, groceries, water, and local shops. Do not install the ordinary international Uber Eats app and assume the existing Uber account will work. Recent 2026 visitors report that Trendyol Go, Yemeksepeti, and Getir commonly require a Turkish mobile number. They also report foreign cards being rejected even after registration. A Turkish tourist SIM may solve the number requirement, but it does not guarantee the payment method, delivery address, English interface, or courier supply. Use Trendyol Go only after entering the exact accommodation address and completing verification. Choose cash on delivery when the app offers it and the property can receive the courier, or ask the accommodation to help order. Never use a temporary public SMS service for an account tied to orders or payments. Confirm that the hotel permits delivery and meet the courier in a staffed area. Prices and selection may differ from the restaurant, and refunds or substitutions can be difficult across a language barrier. Remove Yemeksepeti, Getir, and Migros from the traveler shortlist because they repeat the same local-number and foreign-card friction. One conditional option is clearer and more useful than four resident-oriented downloads.
Turkey's leading food and grocery delivery app, now branded with Uber Eats but still requiring a separate local account.
