GPS interference, disabled traffic data, new road controls, damaged infrastructure and incomplete map edits can make a plausible route wrong.
Do not let navigation send you around a checkpoint, through a closed street, onto an unverified track or into a military or recently struck area. Follow police, railway, road and local-authority instructions even when the app disagrees. Mines and unexploded weapons are a serious hazard, especially in the south, east and any area where ground fighting occurred, but missile debris can create hazards elsewhere too. Verify that the accommodation's claimed shelter appears in current official information and walk the route before it is needed. Keep a paper or offline address, enough battery to call for help and a power bank.
