Uzum reported service in 25 cities with more than 2,600 partners and 7,000 couriers in April 2025, giving it the strongest documented regional footprint. Its current store listing confirms restaurant and grocery delivery across Tashkent and major tourist and regional cities. Yandex Eats remains a major competitor and has a current English, Russian and Uzbek app. Food ordering may also appear inside Yandex Go, so travelers who already installed it for taxis should check there before downloading another large app.
Express24 remains active and offers an English interface, restaurant delivery, groceries and market goods. It is a useful additional catalog, especially in Tashkent, although it is now under the same Yandex-controlled group as Yandex Eats. Wolt ended Uzbekistan operations on March 5, 2026 even though stale landing pages may still appear in search. Uber Eats, Glovo, foodpanda and Deliveroo do not offer a current Uzbekistan service.
Foreign-card acceptance is inconsistent. Uzum lists linked-card or cash payment, Yandex card results vary by issuer, and Express24 has historically emphasized local cards. Cash on delivery is the safest fallback when the app offers it. Use an Uzbek number if registration or courier calls fail, add the exact entrance and a recognizable landmark, and keep the registered phone reachable.
Confirm the payment method and full total before submitting. If an order was paid in the app, do not pay an unexplained second amount to the courier. Report the request through support. For allergies, contact the restaurant directly and do not treat an app translation or filter as a medical guarantee.
