In Sarajevo Canton, Arrivo Sarajevo is the clearest current app for stops, timetables and live positions across trams, trolleybuses, GRAS buses and Centrotrans buses. It is unofficial and reads the Ministry of Transport data, so its own listing warns that arrival accuracy depends on the source. Current local users prefer its interface to the official app, while also reporting vehicles that arrive much earlier or later than the estimate. Javni Prevoz KS is the official Bosnian and English app.
It covers GRAS and Centrotrans information and is the only listed Sarajevo app that sells GRAS tickets with a QR code, but recent store reviews report repeated foreign-card failures and ticket validation problems. Use it only if the purchase produces a visible ticket, follow the on-screen validation instructions and keep a physical-ticket or BAM fallback. Do not let a payment authorization without a ticket become your proof of travel. Sarajevo has two operators and fragmented ticket rules, so check the operator before boarding and ask the driver or kiosk when uncertain.
In Mostar, the operator's Android app is called Mostar Bus and its iOS version is called MoBus. It covers urban routes, stops, live buses and app ticket purchase with QR validation. It is not an intercity timetable. Confirm service notices directly when a connection matters, and carry small BAM because an app, validator or foreign card can fail.
