Travel & Booking Apps in Colombia

There is no Colombia-specific booking app that every visitor should install.

Keep the airline, accommodation or tour app only when it contains an active reservation, and use official websites for government and protected-area steps. CheckMig is not a mobile app recommendation. Migración Colombia describes it as a free, optional online pre-registration that can be submitted from 72 hours to one hour before entering or leaving. Complete it only at the official migracioncolombia.gov.co site, save the email confirmation and never pay a third-party CheckMig service.

Because an airline may still ask for the form during its boarding workflow, check the carrier's message before departure rather than arguing from an old blog post. Verify visa and permitted-stay rules for the passport and purpose of travel through Migración Colombia and the Colombian foreign ministry. National-park access is also site-specific. Parques Nacionales instructs visitors to check the individual park's current capacity, opening conditions and reservation contact before paying; choosing a date in its payment portal does not itself create a reservation.

Closures can change with weather, conservation periods or security conditions, so recheck close to departure. For a guide, tour company or adventure operator, verify the provider and use the contact information published by the responsible attraction or the original booking platform. Save tickets, passport details, accommodation address and insurance information offline. Do not send a replacement deposit merely because a WhatsApp account knows the reservation details.
