Ride Hailing Apps in Serbia

CAR:GO is Serbia's strongest homegrown ride app and is explicitly focused on Belgrade. Its Google Play listing claimed more than 1 million people in the wider CAR:GO community and more than 600 business partners in Belgrade as of May 18, 2026, though those figures are broader than monthly riders. Yandex Go is the main international substitute and dispatches rides with upfront estimates and cash or card payment in Belgrade. Naxis Taxi and Pink Taxi are established licensed Belgrade fleets with English booking pages and card-capable vehicles. CAR:GO or Yandex Go is usually cheaper than an airport-rank or unsolicited taxi. Pink and Naxis can be cheaper than CAR:GO on a normal metered city ride, but supply and traffic determine the result. A 2026 Belgrade visitor guide lists fixed official airport vouchers around RSD 2,300 for New Belgrade and RSD 3,000 for the city centre as of 2026. Obtain the voucher at the official airport desk or use an app. All four can register without Serbian ID or a local bank account. Yandex, Naxis and Pink take cash; CAR:GO offers card or cash, but foreign-card acceptance can fail, so carry dinars. Uber and Bolt are absent. These apps are essentially Belgrade tools. In Novi Sad, Niš, Kragujevac and other cities, use a local licensed taxi company because no equivalent national app has dependable verified coverage.
