Utilities Apps in Bosnia and Herzegovina

BH Mine Suspected Areas is the most distinctive safety utility for travel beyond Bosnia and Herzegovina's established urban routes. The current Android app is published by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Centre and maps areas suspected or confirmed to contain mines, with proximity alerts and safety information. Use it as an additional awareness layer only. A blank or unmarked screen does not certify that ground is safe, location accuracy can vary and information may not reflect a newly discovered hazard. Stay on hard-surfaced roads and established marked paths, follow local authority and guide instructions, respect every warning sign and never enter abandoned buildings or touch ordnance. The old iOS listing and the older Android package linked by some government pages are no longer available, so Bento should link only the current Android package. Save the country's separate emergency numbers offline: police 122, fire 123 and ambulance 124. A June 2026 regional implementation roadmap confirms that Bosnia and Herzegovina still lacks an operational nationwide 112 system and automatic caller-location infrastructure. Give the dispatcher the municipality, road or trail, nearest landmark and coordinates if safe to obtain. Keep the accommodation, insurer, embassy or consulate and tour operator numbers both in the phone and on paper. Share an outdoor plan and return time with someone who will act if it is missed. An app cannot replace a current route briefing, qualified guide or emergency plan.
