KORAIL+ is the official app for a traveler using KTX or other reserved trains. The August 2026 integration replaces the older Korail Talk branding and begins bringing KORAIL and SRT search and booking together. Use the official app or KORAIL website before a reseller when either accepts the foreign card. The rollout is new, and recent store reviews report crashes, language confusion and overseas-card payment failures. Keep the official website as a fallback, save the confirmation and ticket offline, and check the card statement before retrying a failed payment. Reserved trains can sell out on Friday evenings, weekends and national holidays, so book when the itinerary is fixed. Intercity and express buses remain less visitor-friendly online. KOBUS, TXBus and Bustago routes do not share one dependable international checkout, and 2026 changes have pushed some foreign users toward GoHanpass. Current travelers still report sign-up, wallet and foreign-card failures there, so it is not a default recommendation. Since July 31, 2024, foreign cards have been accepted at ticket counters in all intercity bus terminals under the national rollout. For a route that cannot be booked reliably online, check the schedule, go to the correct terminal and buy at the staffed counter, preferably ahead of a busy travel day. Klook is an authorized sales partner for selected KTX and express-bus inventory, but it does not cover every route and may add a fee or different cancellation terms. Compare the operator's rules and exact station or terminal before paying. Rail tickets use the passenger details entered at purchase. Do not buy from an unofficial lookalike site, and leave extra transfer time between a flight and a fixed train.
