Non-Thai nationals generally submit it on tdac.immigration.go.th within the three days before arrival, including the arrival date, whether entering by air, land or sea. Transit passengers who do not pass immigration are exempt, and every child needs a submission when entering. TDAC does not replace a visa, passport, entry permission or health documentation. Save the confirmation and QR code offline, and correct changed accommodation or flight details before entry.

Beware of advertisements, unofficial apps and lookalike sites charging for a free form or collecting passport data. As of August 4, 2026, THIM is an optional Immigration Bureau pilot that can create TDAC-linked registration, but official TAT guidance says it does not replace TDAC and is not an additional requirement. Current user reports still describe form bugs, so the official TDAC website remains the clearer recommendation. Check visa eligibility and passport validity through Thai e-Visa, the responsible embassy or Immigration, and confirm that the exact land checkpoint is open.

Activity marketplaces such as Klook are convenient only for selected bookings and add a reseller between traveler and operator. Compare the official attraction, ferry, national park or tour terms before paying. Verify pickup, baggage, weather and cancellation rules, keep documents offline, and never send a new passport copy or payment because a provider changed instructions only in chat.
