efood's current site advertises 20,000 participating stores and delivery in 100 Greek cities. Its directory covers restaurants, coffee, bakeries, groceries and other everyday shops. Search it whenever Wolt's address results look thin, especially outside central Athens and Thessaloniki.2
Wolt publishes a long Greek market list and supplies an English interface and support route. Recent visitors reported successful hotel delivery through Wolt, while one US traveler said efood rejected a US phone number at the final step. Treat that as a reason to test registration early, not as proof that efood rejects every foreign number.7812

It is worth checking when the first two catalogs miss a restaurant, though its rewards tied to COSMOTE data are less useful to most visitors.10
Bolt's current Athens page also has an explicit Bolt Food section. That makes it a valid extra address check in Athens, but it does not establish delivery across the rest of Greece. Use the Food catalog itself rather than inferring coverage from the Bolt ride app.11
Uber announced Greece among seven new European Eats markets for 2026, but the planned launch was reported paused in July. An app-store listing or generic country page doesn't establish live restaurant coverage. Until Uber publishes a working Greek city catalog, plan around efood, Wolt and BOX.1
Cash works differently here. efood documents cash at delivery, Visa and Mastercard, PayPal, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. It also says efood couriers do not currently offer POS card payment at the door. If cash is selected, have the amount in small euro notes instead of expecting a courier to convert the order to card.4

efood orders can be delivered by the restaurant's driver or by efood's own fleet. That distinction matters. The platform emails the order details and estimated time, but the handoff and tracking can differ when the merchant dispatches the driver.
