ETIAS is expected in the final quarter of 2026, but the European Union has not announced the exact start date. Ignore sites that claim an authorization is already mandatory before the official EU announcement.

For state museums and archaeological sites, the Hellenic Heritage e-Ticket is the official platform identified by the Ministry of Culture and ODAP. Use the official link from gov.gr or ODAP, confirm whether a timed entry applies and distinguish the Acropolis archaeological site from the separately ticketed Acropolis Museum. Third-party tours can include services that a basic admission ticket does not, but they should not impersonate the state ticket office. For hotels, flights, tours and rental vehicles, use the provider directly or an established platform already trusted by the traveler.

Read cancellation and baggage terms, confirm the exact island and port, and store reservations offline. A booking message asking for a new payment link or bank account should be verified through an independently published contact before any money is sent.
