What to know about Travel & Booking in Singapore

The one official digital task almost every arriving visitor must handle is the SG Arrival Card. Submit it free through ICA's official e-Service or MyICA Mobile within three days before the date of arrival. It is not a visa, and submission does not replace checking whether your nationality requires one. ICA issued another warning in 2026 about commercial sites charging for the form, so use only an `ica.gov.sg` page or the app published by Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. The app can scan a passport, save profiles, submit a group of up to ten travelers and retrieve submitted records, but recent store reviews report occasional group-draft and scanning problems. The official web form is a complete fallback and provides an acknowledgement by email plus a downloadable PDF. Keep the acknowledgement and the email address used for your submission accessible. Changi App is optional rather than mandatory. It is useful for saving a flight, receiving airport updates, checking terminal maps, tracking supported baggage and prebooking Changi or Jewel attractions. Airline information remains the authority for a changed flight, and airport screens remain the authority at the terminal. Singapore attractions generally sell direct tickets online, so a general booking marketplace is not a required install. Compare the official attraction price, cancellation conditions and timed-entry rules before buying through any reseller. Store bookings, passport details and insurance documents offline, but do not keep unnecessary unprotected passport images in a shared photo album. Use the exact name in the passport for immigration, flights, ferries and cross-border rail tickets.
