Save emergency numbers offline: 112 reaches emergency medical help, firefighters, mountain and cave rescue and other rescue services; police can also be called directly on 113. Give the dispatcher the location, what happened, number of people involved and hazards. No utility replaces proper mountain preparation, travel insurance or a roadworthy rental vehicle.
